AI visibility reporting: your share of citations, measured honestly

In short · updated

A monthly report on how often ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Mode cite your store for the questions your buyers ask. We run repeated prompt panels, combine them with Search Console’s Generative AI report and revenue, and show how much answers varied. From $750 a month, standalone or as an add-on.

Who it’s for

A fit if

  • Leadership keeps asking “are we visible in AI search?” and nobody has a defensible answer.
  • You invest in feeds or content and need to know whether it changes selection.
  • You want a baseline before committing to a larger program.

Not a fit if

  • You want daily rank tracking. Rank trackers are struggling to scrape Google at all right now (JH Scherck).
  • You want a single screenshot as proof. One run proves nothing when answers vary.

How it works

  1. Weeks 1–2 · Panel

Draft the prompt panel from real buyer questions; you approve it.

  2. Month 1 · Baseline

First full run across four engines; competitor set agreed.

  3. Monthly · Report

Same panel, same method, changes logged. Variance shown alongside every number.

  4. Quarterly · Review

Retire stale prompts, add new ones, record the change.

How we measure it

Every number in the report comes from the method on our methodology page: a frozen prompt panel, repeated runs per engine, citation share and answer influence reported separately, run counts and variance shown. Prompt panels measure both whether you were selected and whether you were used, the two steps described in arXiv 2604.25707.

What moves the price: panel size, number of engines and markets, number of competitors tracked, and whether we also clean up GA4 bot traffic.

Questions about the ai visibility reporting

What is share of citations?

The share of panel runs in which an AI engine cites your domain as a source, reported per engine. If a prompt is run ten times and you are cited in four, your share for that prompt is 40%.

Why not just track rankings?

AI answers change from one run to the next, and rank trackers are struggling to scrape Google. A share over repeated runs is a more honest number than a position from one check.

Which engines do you cover?

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Mode, plus Search Console’s Generative AI performance report for Google’s own data.

Can you see Google’s internal AI data?

No one outside Google can. Google says no third-party tool has access to its internal metrics, so we use its Search Console report as the first-party baseline.

Can I buy reporting on its own?

Yes. It works as a standalone service or as an add-on to the feed or content retainers.
